Emily Baird

Meet Emily, VicHip's Clinical Research Assistant at Barwon Health in Geelong. She invites families to join VicHip at orthopaedic clinics and provides helpful information about the registry. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask Emily. Keep an eye out for her friendly face!

Experience

Emily has a rich background in paediatric physiotherapy, working primarily in community-based early intervention for over 15 years. Recently, she has been involved in the Generation Victoria (GenV) project, overseen by the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, just like VicHip. GenV is Australia’s largest study of children and families, and Emily's role in the project was to invite and support local families to participate. Emily is passionate about improving health outcomes for babies and children, and we are delighted to have her as a part of the VicHip team in the Geelong region.

Interests

Emily enjoys camping, hiking, beaches and travel. She and her three kids love exploring new places on road trips!
