Minh Ngo
Meet Minh, VicHip's Clinical Research Assistant at Western Health, Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital. She facilitates the participation of families in VicHip at orthopaedic clinics and provides helpful information about the registry. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask Minh. You'll easily recognise her by her warm and welcoming smile!
Experience
Minh is a clinical researcher with degrees in biomedicine and microbiology. She has always had a strong interest in patient care and clinical research and has worked in the field for nearly four years. In addition to her role at VicHip, Minh is a Clinical Research Coordinator and Assistant for various Western Health orthopaedic research projects.
Minh grew up in the Western suburbs of Victoria and has a passion for working with families and individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds which are representative of her community. She strongly advocates for empowering patients in health research. Minh firmly believes that research is meaningless without participants and that power lies in numbers when people unite and selflessly contribute.
Her inspiring perspective reminds us of the significant impact that collective effort can have, and we are delighted to have Minh on the VicHip team in the Western region.
Interests
Minh loves exploring regional Victoria with her two Japanese Spitz dogs, Frost and Garlic. In her spare time, she does weight training and likes trying out new and viral restaurants across Melbourne with her friends and family. She also has a love for playing claw machines and arcade games.
