Simone Cranage

Say hello to Simone, VicHip's Clinical Research Assistant at Monash Children's Hospital. She supports families and clinicians in their participation of VicHip and advancing research on hip conditions. If you have any questions or concerns about the registry, feel free to ask Simone. 

 

Experience

Simone holds a Bachelor of Podiatry and brings over 14 years of clinical experience to her role. She has a keen interest in paediatric podiatry and has contributed valuable insights writing on the subject. 

Simone is deeply committed to the health and well-being of children. Her passion for supporting families through their child's healthcare journey is a central focus of her work. 

Her interest in child health research deepened during her Master of Philosophy studies in 2021, providing her with a strong foundation in research. 

Simone is dedicated to the VicHip mission and collaborates with families to optimise outcomes for children with hip dysplasia.

 

Interests

Simone loves spending time with her family and her two young boys. They often visit the Melbourne Zoo, where they always stop to admire the majestic elephants. Simone also loves beach runs and ocean swimming in warm weather.
